After Burberrys’ Art of the Trench comes Hermès with I love my scarf. Hermès is out on the street with a camera ready to capture young trendy people that are wearing a Hermès scarf, and that love their carré. With this Hermès is calling out to the young, and redefining the company as one that is hip. They will be scouting people in Switzerland in September so, if you have a Hermès scarf at home, make sure to wear it on the 11th of September (people living in Geneva, Lausanne, and Lugano) and on the 18th of September (for those in Zurich, Basel and Bern).

Vanillascented is a Norwegian fashion blog created by Maria. I really admire her blog because she has a lot DIY creations. Everything she creates comes out beautiful, and as you know by know, I love everything that is simple and edgy. Above are two of her DIY projects.

Sometimes a song just resonates cause when you listen to it, its like it was written as a soundtrack to your life at that moment. A friend posted it on facebook today and its been on repeat since then. Just straight up beautiful music from Anthony Hamilton from the American Gangster soundtrack.

Instead of carrying your handbag and your camera around, Luxirare combined the two to make an elegant simple camera bag. The bag has two inner side pockets, one that has enough space for different cards and cash, the other for a blackberry or an iphone. You can also take pictures leaving the camera inside the bag. Good idea, love the design.

A photographer was introduced to me by way of Kapuly that had a style so unique I had to share it! The concepts are so diverse and always pulled off with such a high aesthetic beauty. I like that he doesnt take concepts overboard like Lachapelle, and concentrates more on beautiful lighting to create his ambient environments. Dear Elle,
Thank you for making the Elle Collections magazine. It’s so nice to have all the “best” collections of the coming season clearly laid out in one magazine so I don’t need to pick out pieces of the collections through fashion spreads. Thank you for showing me all the different sets used for the fashion shows, the new seasons hats, the different invitations that were send, and the 5 things on my to-do list from fashion’s famous faces. Thank you.
Best regards,
Susan

So this friday thanks to Sarah I was helping out a little backstage at the Young At Art fashion show while the hipsters and stylers sat upstairs and actually got to watch the show! It was def. a nice experience to see how a fashion show was put together. Everyone running around and getting ready. The wonderful mix of egos that clash at a show like this; models, make up artists, hair dressers, photographers, designers, and the list goes on. I regret not being able to take more pictures of the people there because once it started we where cooped up backstage getting instructions on how to dress the models. Nevertheless there was some nice outfits on display. Heres a small dose of imagery that should give you an Idea of what the YoungAtArt fashion show was like.
Shout out to Pascal for lending me his camera as well as being a easy model to deal with!

Because I am all about simplicity, Filippa Ks’ collection is one that never disappoints me. All her clothes are made with limited color and über simple cuts (meaning perfect for everyday and easy to combine). Always good.
