Mr.Kate & Toujours Toi & Yvonne Koné

Post by // Susan

I am always on the look out for bracelets cause they are probably my favorite type of jewelery. The klinkling sound they make (when you wear more than one) makes me happy. These bracelets are all by Mr.Kate who has a lot of cute jewelery.

The bracelets pictured above are from Toujours Toi, I like them because they are beaded. They are part of the love forever collection.

And the last bracelets are from Yvonne Koné. These are number 1 on my “I want list” but I can’t get them online… Need to go to Copenhagen, or try make them on my own.

Royal Enfield Classic 500

Post by // Michael

Im not exactly sure what it is but my desire to ride the Classic 500 is getting out of control!
It could be the fact that when I was growing up in Kathmandu Enfields where the most bad ass things on the streets. The sound of their “thumper” engines was phenomenal! In those days they where plagued with oil problems and the kick starter was rumored to have injured a few legs.

The fact that the bike is manufactured in virtually the same way it was in the 60’s allows you the same experience your grandfather might have had whilst whistling around town on a Bullet 500. Which I find very appealing!

Here is the newest bike from Royal Enfield, the Classic 500. The same beautiful look with some technological improvements! (well hello there Electronic Fuel Injection)!

Its not fast and clocks in a little under 30 horsepower. Apparently it cruises perfectly at around 90km an hour. Which is more than enough for me!
You can only get these in India at a cost of around 3’000 Chf! Find a brand new Triumph for that price!
My cousin is in the process of importing a Bullet 500 which took him from India all the way to Nepal last summer. I’ll definitely be keen to hear how much it cost him to get it road ready in switzerland!

Odylyne

Post by // Susan

Odylyne is a clothing line for the hippie chic girl… The video on their website portraying their clothes reminds me of the whimsical world of fairy tails.

I don’t know what to say about Finsk, other than really special shoes, love the shape and color combination of the heel. You can buy Finsk shoes at OAK NYC.

Luxirare

Post by // Susan

Instead of carrying your handbag and your camera around, Luxirare combined the two to make an elegant simple camera bag. The bag has two inner side pockets, one that has enough space for different cards and cash, the other for a blackberry or an iphone. You can also take pictures leaving the camera inside the bag. Good idea, love the design.

Moleskine who?

Post by // Michael

My mom really came through this year. She always brings something small back from nepal and this year she really outdid herself. A small nepali manufacturer makes these amazing notebooks. I cant really explain how nice these are online because you really need to hold the leather in your hands to know. The rough leather casing protects the fine paper withheld inside. Really liked the details such as the pen strap or the leather band to close the notebook. Comes in black and brown leather. WOW.

If you are interested in one of these hit me up on email or twitter. I might just have to make a order for more of these!

Dutch bikes are where its at

Post by // Michael

Been seeing these old dutch bikes around town lately. Id love to trade riding a track bike for the comfortable upright position you get when riding these bad boys. My company of choice would have to be Gazelle they make some beautiful bikes.

Dame

Post by // Susan

Its been a while since I last posted about jewelery… I don’t know why because I really like jewelery, but I have to admit, I have a jewelry problem. I have so much jewelery but I only wear about 2% percent of it! I have different jewelry phases in which I will wear the same jewelry (I have two sets one silver the other gold) for about 3-5 months before changing… Why is it so hard for me to change my jewelery more often?

I found this jewelry store called Dame, and they have a lot of nice pieces, but I don’t know if I should buy something if I am only gonna wear it for three months and then never again for about a year… hmmm probably not. But for all you ladies that change it up a little more often, you might find something of your taste here

Don’t have a lot to say about these pictures, but I thought the idea was really good. And I like the contrast between the black/white pictures with the extremely colorful illustrations… Pics Via: Knightcat

Reece Hudson

Post by // Susan

What do you carry in your bag? I always have a couple of essentials that I cant do with out: blackberry, wallet, agenda, camera, pencil case, iPod, benetint, hair pins, scrunchies, bracelets and a novel. (Hahaha, it’s funny how I called them essentials, cause the only things I carry that really are essentials (to me) are my phone and my wallet). Anyway I would still need a bag for both cause walking around with stuffed pockets just isn’t comfortable. Back to the point, for those bag carriers out there looking for their next purchase, Reece Hudson’s fall lookbook is out, and their bags are beautiful, I really enjoy their geometric shapes.

Katie Eary

Post by // Susan

Katie Eary graduated from the Royal College of Arts two years ago, and is one of the new upcoming mens designers. She describes the Katie Eary man as “Treading the monumentally versatile line between Vogue and Vice.” I like her shirts

oh and here, two cool stores that are on sale. 30cancan is one for the ladies; if it wasn’t so hot outside I would definitely get these. And the Très Bien Shop for the guys.
